Download Your Facebook Data…
Seriously, it’s Only 5 Clicks (and Then The Fun Starts!)

I did it this weekend. You’ll be glad you did!
I’m changing very little and I don’t plan to #deletefacebook, but it is really good information to have. The insight you gain is well worth the little effort it takes.
Here’s an article by Bill Murphy Jr. that summarizes the process and provides some insight I found useful!
Here are the 5 Steps!
I find that images are useful…
1 — Sign into Facebook on the desktop

2 — Go to “Settings”

3 — Under “General”, click on “Download a copy” of your Facebook data

4 — Click “Download Archive”

5 — Enter Password, if prompted
The download request will be submitted. In my case, the download happened immediately. This may not happen depending on the amount of data you have. In that case, Facebook will notify you via email when the download is ready!

That’s it.
Now go attack the data!
