Mobile Access Dashboard — Round 2!
I Received a Great Question — Here’s the Answer!
In my recent post, I discussed using #GoogleSheets to create a mobile access dashboard:
My niece, Olivia Tomoff, astutely pointed out that the Google Sheets dashboard only fits a specific size phone (it was sized for a iPhone Plus size device), so it looks “clunky” on other phones.
So here question posed to me:
“Can the dashboard be provided in a LIST type format so that it is more usable on any device?”
It can, and here is how I would handle it (and, will, thanks to Olivia prompting me!).
Create a List Format Dashboard
I have a simple dashboard I created for Microsoft Excel training for Macro Basics:
Using the same information, I created an Evernote note, simply listing the components down the page.
Then, share the “public” URL for the note.
You can access the here (http://bit.ly/ExcelMacrosList) — try it out on your mobile device! It will look similar to the following — Evernote automatically resizes to fit the device!
Thanks for the question Olivia! Keep them coming…
