Setup and Session Activation Instructions

In my work, I do a lot a screen sharing sessions. The easiest, fastest way to access a screen sharing session is via our mobile devices.

To make my process easier, I have walked through the process with the service I use (join.me), but it is similar for the other screen sharing services.

When Invited to a Session

You will receive an invitation with a session code. Open the app and input the code.

If the session is “locked”, request to be added and the organizer will allow you in.

Get ready for the session

You’re in!

Now, depending on the type of session, you will need to activate the audio (so you can chat), and video (if you want to be seen).

If the session is a webinar type meeting, you MAY NOT need this — organizer’s preference. I like the audio to be activated in case someone wants to ask questions (and I can mute on my end during presentation).

• Access settings

• Activate your desired options

• Return to shared screen view and get started!
