New to Evernote? Start With This Training Tool
A Flipboard mag based training resource
What is Evernote?
From Wikipedia
“Evernote is a suite of software and services designed for notetaking and archiving. A “note” can be a piece of formatted text, a full webpage or webpage excerpt, a photograph, a voice memo, or a handwritten “ink” note. Notes can also have file attachments. Notes can be sorted into folders, then tagged, annotated, edited, given comments, searched and exported as part of a notebook.”
Why Use Evernote?
We all capture information — thoughts, web information, news articles, photographs, etc. Virtually anything we encounter may want to be “captured” in some way. This is where Evernote helps and becomes a fantastic tool!
Why Flipboard for Training on Evernote?
Flipboard is a tool to aggregate content in a magazine format. Content can be virtually anything — articles, videos, tweets, facebook posts, photographs, etc. Organized in a concise, summary fashion, makes it a great format for accumulating training content.
The content is not meant to be comprehensive. It was developed to give those new to Evernote a basic understanding of the service and enough “getting started” information to start leveraging this powerful service. Depending on the user’s desire, there is MUCH more to learn and explore (and I have another Flipboard magazine — Getting Evernote — for that!).
