Twitter Tips: Twitter Moments in Action!

My recent post “Twitter Tips: Create and Share Your Own Twitter Moments” reviewed how to create and post Twitter Moments.
In this post, I highlight recent Moments that I have created — actual business and personal application of how to use Twitter Moments to step up your information sharing game!
Compilation for a Group (Professional)
I serve on a committee that has undertaken collaborating on trends, knowledge gathering, and sharing of information to be better informed about what the organization needs to be thinking about as we look to the future.
Training
Compile a quick resource for training purposes. Easy to do and a great way to provide “micro” training content to a group or your team!
Repurpose Blog Posts
The Moment below recaps my most popular Medium posts related to tips for Microsoft Excel. No need to go to Medium to find these posts — they are all captured right here!
Compiling Topical Tweets (Specific Twitter User)
I find Twitter to be a fantastic resource for research. I follow, and share, content from many other Twitter accounts. Harvard Business Review is one of my favorites.
Here is a recap of selected HBR articles I think are especially useful for business professionals.
Event Recaps
It is becoming increasingly common to attend events, conferences, etc. where #hashtags are provided to encourage and create engaging dialogue during the event.
Here is an example where I recapped selected tweets from the IMA Regional Professional Development Conference (the hashtag during the event was #IMAKSU2016). This made it easy to find related tweets and compile them.
If you’re a sports fan, it’s a great way to capture and share a sporting event.
Quick Research Compilation
Twitter is one of my favorite ways to source information on topics I am interested in. I use Twitter Lists (How to Use Twitter Lists to Follow Thousands) extensively to group Twitter users into “subsets” of accounts I want to look at.
It’s then easy to review any of my lists — targeted towards specific topics — and create a incredibly useful compilation! The example below was curated from a 5 minute review of my “TrendTracking” Twitter list.
I hope this gives you some idea on how to use Twitter Moments for your benefit. What ideas do you have for Twitter Moments?
